I have been away from my writing for too long and apologize with the utmost humility and sincerity to my friends within this Realm for my absence. Whilst I've been away, many things have happened whether for good or ill is to be decided by you, my friends.
Have no fear, for I am in good health and spirits; however, the Tax Man did keep me rather busy in assisting my fellow man in doing our duty to give homage and coin to those who require it.
I have learned many things in recent days, including and not limited to: my family continues to surprise me (in good ways), my friends are excellent individuals of the highest caliber while it is my honor and privilege to call them friends.
Faire season 2010 was momentous for me, the realms whence I was found, included, in chronological order: Derbyshire, Bristol, Silver Leaf, MiRF, KCRF and PaRF.
I did perform at Derbyshire, as I have in years past, with Cardinal Blessicus Maximus and Queen Ariana. We did enjoy ourselves whilst we entertained the gentles in our land. The official word is that there will be reorganizing and the faires future reappearance is presently unknown, details to be announced later. (I'm rather curious to see how this resolves.)
Bristol was amazing!! I had never been there before and was well escorted the whole weekend. I made new friends and cemented existing friendships. My gratitude continues for my companions willingness to show me around, as I struggled against a sick stomach. (Cursed stomach gremlins!)
Silver Leaf and MiRF are familiar faires where I enjoyed my time greatly as I was familiar with the grounds, merchants and had friends to visit with, seemingly, at every turn. What pleasure it was to find at MiRF none other than Lord Sir Clisto, Tartanic... some of my favorite people to find at faire.
Kansas City was joy! I had ventured there to visit dear friends and was blessed wit the opportunity to return to the faire at Canterbury, huzzah! It had been too long since I was last there. I was able to renew my acquaintance with some friends and deepen other friendships at faire. The weather was picture perfect too; for faire, it's hard to ask for more than that.
PaRF is worth the travel time if one has a mind to attend therein. The grounds are lovely. The cast is engaging. Merchants, oh dear, merchants of every sort, entertainment of great talent and variety for one's choosing.
I did have a marvelous excursion with a dear friend late in November which included the rare privilege to meet people from my friends life, prior to our friendship, and Thanksgiving Day was spent with a part of my extended family that I had not seen in a long time.
Ah, my friends, the pillow and bed do beckon me. I shall not be away so long before I write again. Sweet dreams!
Fare thee well. In service,
Dame Catherine

Well, are you about the realm here? I hope all is well and Halloween was a real TREAT!!! I have an event in December and then finally done for faire. Thought it was already finished. Anyway, I am trying to still keep people close on here if I can, of those still around.
Lord Clisto, Duke...Have a great week and weekend, Lady Catherine
