Update on OUCH: First, many thanks for the prayers on my behalf. I'm still a bit uncomfortable, but the pain is easing off. Huzzah!!
HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY!! Remember that line from Ren and Stimpy? Well, that's the best description of how I feel presently. I'm so excited, I can hardly find words...
I have been asked to be on the Street Cast at Derbyshire this year. WOW!!! How cool is that ? Does anyone have ANY suggestions to offer a girl as she begins this adventure in the faire world?
I have done community theatre, various choral groups and been a professional musician... this is so new and SO exciting that I'm not sure where to begin in fulfilling my responsibilities as part of the cast at Faire.
In other news, work is still a taxing affair, mostly to one's patience. The roller coaster of tax season has just begun the next loop of crazy... in about six weeks we shall know if the grey matter in my head has survived intact or not. :)
The runny mashed potatoes are still here, if I add a little flour, egg and chopped onion I would have potato pancakes. Hmm, sounds good; sour cream, please?

I know not what the lord of Derbyshire requires of street cast, but from mine own experience in Canterbury there is much I can say. If I were to choose one thing from what I know of thee, 'twould be to have an iced beverage within reach at all times.
Sir JulianAnd ponder not recipies for thy "runny mashed potatoes", for such a diet is only suited to the likes of madmen and zombies. Neither of those do well as street characters.
